FTC: Edited: This giveaway is now sponsored because Christy wanted to offer one of her new cruelty free leaping bunny necklaces to a lucky winner! Thank you Christy!!
I try to help people out where I can so they can take care of their pets. Times are crazy hard for a lot of people- pet owners are no different. I think That is the sort of thing you were looking for... Donating food - helping people with medications for their pets- helping with spay/neuter funds for people who can't swing it financially. Grooming peoples dogs. Simple stuff. Times are hard for me too- but it could be so much worse- so I help where I can.
I encourage people to foster or adopt instead of buying a pet from a store or breeder, I've made donations to various Basset Hound rescue organizations, and I prefer my makeup and skincare products to be cruelty-free.
I foster puppies so they don't get murdered at animal shelters, I donate to local shelters, I even rescue puppies. I purchase cruelty free products, I support free range farming. I advocate for free range farmers. :D
We're parents to a rescue dog and support our local sustainable farmers! Also, try to eat vegetarian 98% of the time (health issues require a stinking monthly hamburger)!
I started using vegan cosmetics and also educated family friends and my subscribers of the great animal cruelty free cosmetics. I also take animals to no kill shelters and i feed and help animals that are abused amd abandoned. And im teaching my son how to care for animals the right way and that animals have feelings too. :)
i rescued a dog off the street and gave her a good home with a friend of mine, a beautiful husky. my cat is saved from a horrible owner. i try to buy cruelty-free products when i can, and occasionally find myself unknowingly eating vegetarian for a day. thanks to your no-meat mondays! :)
Me and My mom rescuded a bunny from this awful man. He said if no one is going to take this i'm going to shoot it. When we saw that we took him immediately from that guy! And Also Me and my hole family are vegetarian!
All the dogs I've owned have been rescue dogs. The one we have now was in the animal shelter for months before anyone took her home, and she is a darling, despite not being allowed outside in her old home.
I've always been an animal lover and i used to raise English Springer Spaniels. I also worked at a kennel for 9 years and a vet's office for 4! I've rescued a little pug puppy that had mange and the owners were going to put him to sleep instead of treating him. He was so well, behaved and sweet and besides the mange, there was absolutely NOTHING wrong with him(although we did find out later he had some neurological issues). I had them sign him over to me and I treated him and gave him a loving home. I've also rescued a bird that had a problem with his beak and he couldn't eat unless it was trimmed constantly(again....going to be put down). But when it comes to animal RIGHTS....when I was little, I stayed at my uncle's dairy farm. One day I watched them beat a cow with a LARGE chain because it wouldn't get up from the fairway to the milking parlor. I made the BIGGEST stink about how they were treating their cows. they had enough help to have them all try to lift the cow. They now take MUCH more care of the cows and their feelings.(i think i was like 7 or 8 years old! LOL!)
I've raised awareness of a local pet store that doesn't care and treat their animals right. They seemed like a good store at first glance but really they aren't, some of their animals were in poor shape and having talked to several people who have purchased an animal, be it a puppy, bird or critter, it seemed like they would never stay in good health for more than a year. I've told the manager as well as wrote to the store's main branch, since then they look to be improving themselves
I don't eat meat and since watching Earthlings decided to stop buying and wearing leather goods. I've also encouraged everyone I know to watch Earthlings as well! I always buy cruelty free products too because it's important and not a hard thing to do.
I'm doing my best for animals by raising awareness for cruelty-free and vegan beauty products by running my website, www.veggiebeauty.com. I also donate to a local cat rescue organization by the name of Tigeracats Rescues:) I've also been a vegan for about 2 years and have been an animal rights activist for many years:)
I make choices everyday to benefit animals rights through 5 years of consuming a plant-based diet :) I also volunteer at the local rescue barn and work with rescued/abused/neglected horses and donkeys! They are the sweetest. Thanks for hosting this giveaway!
I have 2 "not a nugget" chickens and "I heart broccoli". I have been a strict vegetarian (no dairy too) for about a year and a half. I also teach classes and have dinner clubs showcasing vegan meals!
I was raised vegetarian and have been vegan for a few years now.I have 2 year old twins I am raising vegan & compassionate.I have participated with demonstrations against Ringling Bros.circus a few times & even brought my twins to the last one!I love doing fundraising to help raise funds for Farm Sanctuary & Peta by raffling off massage treatments from me at work.Oh my gosh Im going to go on for ever!Ok Im not,but animals are my passion.I like to teach others to be kind to animals, the planet & themselves.P.S.I love Christy Robinson designs!I already have the friend not food turkey necklace!
