TUTORIAL: Monster Inspired!

Nearly a year ago, the lovely Karyl of the Biting Gnome sent me a love package.  In that package was a precious monster who is one of the cutest little things I've laid my eyes on... and tonight I decided to do a tutorial based on him because I asked j0hn to pick an object for inspiration.  =]

So let's get into the supplies:

In order of use:
MTcoffinz Under the Rainbow Eyeshadow Primer [V, CF]
Madd Style Cosmetix pigment in Love Potion No. 9 [V, CF]
Madd Style Cosmetix pigment in Outlaw Star [V, CF]
Madd Style Cosmetix pigment in Birfday Suit [V, CF]
Madd Style Cosmetix Awesome Sauce Foiling Medium [V, CF]
Madd Style Cosmetix pigment in Atomic Dreamland [V, CF]
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Pencil in Zero [V, CF]
blinc Mascara [V, CF]

& the brushes (left to right):
Sedona Lace Midnight Lace Synthetic Brush #305
Real Techniques Deluxe Crease Brush
Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush
Real Techniques Pixel-Point Eyeliner Brush
ELF Flat Liner Brush

To see my look inspired by the little monster...

First of all, please don't mind my stubbly eyebrows.  I didn't shave them today because I'm off, at home, in sweatpants.  Start off priming your eyes with the lovely MTcoffinz primer.

Then take Love Potion No. 9 with your Sedona Lace brush #305.  Pat the color all over the lid.

Add Outlaw Star to the outer corner and the crease, then blend; use the base shadow brush for both steps.

Take your deluxe crease brush and blend Birfday Suit down from the brow into the Outlaw Star.

Apply a very thin layer of Awesome Sauce below your lower lash line with the pixel-point liner brush.  Use the flat liner brush to apply Atomic Dreamland below the lower lash line, and to push it into the lashes.

Apply black liner to both the upper and lower waterline, and also tightline the outer corner on top.  Then push more Atomic Dreamland into the lower lash line to help set the liner and "clean up" the edge.

Curl your lashes & apply mascara.

& done!!  =D  Sorry about the crooked septum and naked skin.  I didn't feel like doing face makeup, it's almost midnight here.

Hope you guys like, and hopefully my crappy eyebrows didn't upset you guys too much.  Please check out Karyl's shop here and bring home your own little monster!

FTC:  I was sent the creature by the Biting Gnome because Karyl loves me, haha.  I received several items from work or as a model from Madd Style Cosmetix.  The MTcoffinz was sent to me for review & consideration.  The blinc mascara was a gift in an exchange from my friend Shanna.  I won the Sedona Lace brushes in a giveaway.  Anything else was purchased with my own money.  Where it came from does not affect my opinion in any way, I used this items because I like them.

    1. Actually, I don't have links added to anyone's blog. The blogs that show up in the side bar are a newsfeed of the blogs that I'm subscribed too. =]
